“Kopfmalerei” (e: painting with your head) is a book on synaesthesia. Janine Bayer, a synaestetic herself, summarised the current state of research on this psychological phenomenon, explains, what synaesthesia is and how colourful words look like to her. In her thread bound, digitally printed 64 pages book, she uses illustration, photography and, naturally, typography, to explain how her heads paints letters in colours.Information and Communication Design, BA-Thesis.
