Katharina Kley-Steverding
Katharina Kley-Steverding designed an information website on the solar system. On the content side she focused on information to active users and generate curiosity on the topic, gathering information from numerous scientific publications and sites. Visually she managed to completely avoid expectable image worlds, often seen and expected in the outer-space- or sci-fi topics. Therefore Katharina created a inspiring visuals by illustrations referring to letterpress-printing and early 19th century aesthetics, which she transferred and re-interpreted for her project in the digital realm.
